3S Industry Expands into the Power Equipment Sector Through Strategic Acquisition of Yantai Transformer

3S Industry Group Inc. has completed the acquisition of 100% of the equity interests in Wolong Electric Yantai Dongyuan Transformer Co., Ltd. (formerly Yantai Transformer Factory), marking the company’s strategic entry into the power equipment sector. The acquisition expands 3S Industry’s business portfolio and strengthens its ability to support customers across the rapidly evolving global power infrastructure market.

Founded in 1985, Yantai Transformer is one of China’s established manufacturers of power transformers, with more than four decades of engineering and manufacturing experience. The company operates a 75,000-square-meter manufacturing facility capable of producing power transformers rated up to 500 kV, as well as dry-type transformers, rectifier transformers, prefabricated substations, and providing power engineering construction and installation services.

As a qualified supplier to the State Grid Corporation of China, Yantai Transformer serves customers across a wide range of industries, including renewable energy (wind, solar, hydrogen and energy storage), thermal power, oil and gas, and steel manufacturing. Its products have been exported to markets throughout the Americas, Europe, Australia, and Southeast Asia.

This acquisition represents an important milestone in 3S Industry’s long-term growth strategy.
