3S Industry Debuts at the Shanghai Solar and Energy Storage Event
Recently, the highly anticipated International Solar PV, Smart Energy & Energy Storage, and Battery Technology and Equipment (Shanghai) Conference and Exhibition successfully concluded. 3S Industry made our debut at this globally significant event for the renewable energy industry, showcasing a range of fire protection solutions for energy storage cabins, demonstrating our capabilities in the field of energy storage safety from all fronts.

At this exhibition, 3S Industry focused on “Global Certification and Multi-Scenario Customization,” showcasing a range of fire protection solutions for energy storage cabins. These solutions not only comply with major international certification standards such as CE, LPCB, VdS, UL, FM, MED, and EAC, meeting market access requirements in various countries and regions including the United States and the European Union, but also offer high flexibility for differentiated customization for diverse energy storage scenarios. Leveraging mature engineering technical capabilities, these solutions effectively address safety protection challenges under complex operating conditions, ensuring the safe operation of the energy storage industry through highly adaptable and comprehensive technical solutions. Numerous energy storage industry experts from China and abroad, as well as leading EPC companies and partners, visited the booth to engage in discussions.

In addition to the booth display, 3S Industry technical expert Wang Hualei delivered a keynote speech titled “Active Fire Suppression First, Passive Fire Protection as a Backstop: On Large-Scale Fire Testing and Integrated Fire Protection Design for Energy Storage Systems” during the official exchange event “Top Ten Industry Technical Highlights.” His presentation provided an in-depth explanation of the integrated and synergistic concept of “active defense (detection and suppression) + passive protection (fire barriers),” and he received the “Energy Storage Innovation Enterprise Award.”

He pointed out that active defense through fire detection and suppression, combined with passive safeguards through large-scale fire burn tests, mutually reinforce one another, jointly establishing the foundation to prevent the uncontrolled spread of thermal runaway in energy storage systems. Conducting large-scale fire tests and implementing integrated, coordinated design of fire suppression systems allows for the coordinated management of fire prediction, disaster prevention and control, and joint response, enabling effective management and reinforcing the safety protection barrier for energy storage systems. This “combination of active and passive measures” comprehensive protection design successfully achieves end-to-end safeguarding, from early warning to extreme fire scenario isolation, thereby establishing an intrinsic safety barrier for energy storage stations.
Although the exhibition has concluded, 3S Industry remains committed to advancing safety across the industry. Looking ahead, the company will continue working closely with customers and industry partners, gaining deeper insight into market needs while driving industry development through technological innovation. 3S Industry looks forward to collaborating with partners across the sector to achieve shared success and shape the future of energy storage fire protection together.
